Hyosung Advanced Materials – Jeonju, South Korea (CF Plant)
Hyosung Advanced Materials primary carbon fiber production facility in Jeonju, North Jeolla Province. 9,000 MT/yr capacity (2023); expanding toward 24,000 MT total by 2028. Alkex para-aramid production is at a separate Jeongeup plant. Hyosung CF is increasingly qualified for hydrogen storage pressure vessels and serves Korean and global EV/fuel cell OEMs. Emerging as one of the few non-Japanese suppliers capable of competing with Toray T700S for pressure vessel applications. Hyosung Vina Core Materials (Vietnam) adds 4,800 MT by 2025, 12,000 MT by 2029 as Southeast Asian production base.
