LG Energy Solution's Ochang, North Chungcheong Province campus produces consumer LCO pouch cells alongside cylindrical EV cells. Ochang is LGES's primary domestic manufacturing hub with multiple cell format lines. Consumer electronics LCO cell production at Ochang is declining as LGES prioritizes EV battery contracts over lower-margin consumer segments.
