Formerly Georg Fischer Casting Solutions GmbH Leipzig; acquired by Linamar Corporation (Canada) in 2026 for ~€45M. ~300 employees transferred. Europe's largest moulding box for machine-moulded iron components; 200,000 MT/year ductile iron capacity. Served agricultural equipment, heavy truck, and construction equipment markets under GF ownership. Linamar (also owns MacDon combine headers, Winnipeg) now controls both an upstream European iron foundry and a downstream agricultural harvesting equipment maker. This makes Linamar one of the most vertically positioned companies in the global ag equipment supply chain.
