Luxfer Gas Cylinders US manufacturing in Pomona, Los Angeles County, California. Acquired from Worthington Industries' Special Cylinders Inc. (SCI) in 2021 for ~$40M. Produces aluminum alloy SCBA cylinder liners and complete composite LCX cylinders for North American fire service market. Pomona was the Worthington SCI site that Luxfer acquired to consolidate North American SCBA cylinder production under Luxfer brand. Now the primary US-based manufacturing point for Luxfer LCX composite SCBA cylinders.
