MTU primary manufacturing campus in Friedrichshafen, Germany (Lake Constance); ~9,000 employees; primary global production site for MTU Series 4000 high-speed diesel engines used in standby power generation, marine propulsion, and military applications. The Series 4000 engines rated 1MW to 4.3MW are the standard for mission-critical European data centers and NATO military field power.
