World's largest apatite-nepheline ore deposit. One of the world's highest-grade phosphate sources (P2O5 ≥37.5%). Russia's ONLY domestic phosphate rock source. Founded 1929 as Apatit Trust. Kirovsky mine's +10m level commenced March 2024. Located above the Arctic Circle in the Khibiny mountain massif. Produces both apatite concentrate (for fertilizers) and nepheline concentrate (for aluminum/glass) from the same ore.
