Renesas Naka Factory -- site of March 2021 fire that destroyed critical equipment during global auto chip shortage. World's most important single automotive MCU facility; produces ~30% of global automotive microcontroller supply. 300mm wafer fab (N3 building) restored by June 2021 after emergency $200M rebuild effort. AEC-Q100 qualified automotive chips; primary source for RH850 MCU family.
