Shell/PEMEX Deer Park Refinery & Chemical Complex
Deer Park TX facility on the Houston Ship Channel (~340,000 bpd refining capacity + chemical units). Shell Chemical LP produces hexane solvents from naphtha fractionation. In 2023 Shell sold its 50% stake in the refinery to PEMEX (completing PEMEX 100% ownership of refining), while chemical operations continue.
