Shell -- Pernis Refinery, Rotterdam (Base Oil)
Shell Pernis (Europe's largest refinery by throughput) produces Group I and II base oils alongside transportation fuels. Shell's lubricants operation is integrated with Pernis and other Shell refineries globally. Shell has its own Group III plant at Stanlow, UK and sources Group III from SK Enmove Yubase for premium products. Shell Pennzoil brand (acquired through Pennzoil-Shell merger) and Shell Helix are marketed base on this production.
