Primary European carbon fiber production facility for Teijin (Tenax brand); ~5,100 MT/yr capacity; ~400 employees; 4 production lines. Heinsberg-Oberbruch district near the Dutch border. Produces Tenax STS 40 (standard modulus, direct competitor to Toray T700), Tenax IMS65 (intermediate modulus for pressure vessels and aerospace). Supplies Airbus programs and European hydrogen pressure vessel market. One of the largest non-Japanese CF production sites in Western Europe.
