Yangnong Chemical Yangzhou Production Complex (Jiangsu)
Yangnong Chemical's Yangzhou, Jiangsu Province complex is China's largest integrated neonicotinoid production site, manufacturing generic imidacloprid, acetamiprid, and thiamethoxam technical grade for global export. Estimated capacity: 20,000+ tonnes/year neonicotinoid AIs. Yangzhou lies along the Yangtze River, enabling bulk chemical export via Nanjing and Shanghai ports. Environmental authorities have cited Yangzhou chemical parks for neonicotinoid contamination of adjacent waterways — consistent with USGS/NAWQA findings that Chinese production regions correlate with elevated aquatic neonicotinoid concentrations in receiving waters.
