Elemental Sulfur
Feedstock for SF6 (sulfur hexafluoride) production via direct fluorination. SF6 is used as a dielectric in high-voltage equipment and as an etch gas in semiconductor manufacturing (GWP of 23,900 vs CO2). Sulfur is a refinery byproduct; supply is generally abundant.
