Natural graphite (flake)
Mined natural graphite in powder or flakes — the raw-tier sibling of the synthetic-graphite-anode input. Spheronized natural flake is one of the two anode-material pathways for lithium-ion cells; major suppliers to the U.S. include Madagascar, Mozambique, and China, and the U.S. has no domestic natural-graphite mine production.
