§3807 Vesting of Title in the United States

Summary
When a contract paid by a method allowed under section 3801(a) says the United States will own a piece of property, the United States must get that ownership as the contract describes. That ownership stands even if someone else has a claim or lien on the property before or after the contract is made.

If a contract paid by a method authorized under section 3801(a) of this title provides for title to property to vest in the United States, the title to the property shall vest in accordance with the terms of the contract, regardless of any security interest in the property that is asserted before or after the contract is entered into.
