Title 11 › Chapter 13— ADJUSTMENT OF DEBTS OF AN INDIVIDUAL WITH REGULAR INCOME › Subchapter II— THE PLAN › § 1324
The court must hold a hearing to decide whether to approve the plan after giving notice. Anyone who has a stake in the case can object to approval at that hearing. That hearing usually takes place no sooner than 20 days and no later than 45 days after the meeting of creditors required by section 341(a). The court can hold it earlier if the court thinks an earlier date is better for the creditors and the estate and no one objects to the earlier date.
