Title 15 › Chapter 40— DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE › § 1521
Creates a working capital fund of $100,000 with no fiscal year limit to pay salaries and other costs to run central services like copying, photography, drafting, and photostating, and any other services the Secretary, with the Director of OMB’s approval, decides are better handled centrally. Agencies that use these services must reimburse the fund. The charges must cover expected or actual costs for staff, supplies, equipment (including upkeep, repairs, and depreciation), and other expenses. The central services should be used as much as possible so individual bureaus, offices, or agencies do not keep separate, similar services. The annual Budget must include a separate report showing the fund’s spending and reimbursements and a statement of the fund’s current assets and liabilities at the end of the last fiscal year.
