Title 15 › Chapter 47— CONSUMER PRODUCT SAFETY › § 2057
The Commission can ban a consumer product when it is or will be sold in the marketplace, it poses an unreasonable risk of injury, and no workable safety standard under this chapter would adequately protect people from that risk.
