Summary

Inclined sleepers for infants must be treated as banned hazardous products no later than 180 days after May 16, 2022, no matter when they were made. An "inclined sleeper for infants" is a product with a sleeping surface tilted more than 10 degrees that is meant, marketed, or designed to provide sleep for babies up to 1 year old.

(a)Not later than 180 days after May 16, 2022, inclined sleepers for infants, regardless of the date of manufacture, shall be considered a banned hazardous product under section 2057 of this title.
(b)In this section, the term “inclined sleeper for infants” means a product with an inclined sleep surface greater than ten degrees that is intended, marketed, or designed to provide sleeping accommodations for an infant up to 1 year old.
