Within 180 days after May 16, 2022, crib bumpers, regardless of manufacture date, are banned. A crib bumper is any material on crib sides meant to prevent hits or keep children from getting stuck. It covers padded bumpers, supported or unsupported vinyl guards, and slat covers, but not non‑padded mesh liners.
