15 U.S.C. § 2223b: Working group

Summary

To carry out section 2223a, the Administrator must set up a working group. It must include federal program officials from the Environmental Protection Agency, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, Department of Transportation, Occupational Safety and Health Administration, and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives who handle hazardous materials data and incident reporting; state and local emergency‑response or regulatory officials; and representatives of companies that make or process chemicals.

For the purpose of carrying out section 2223a of this title, the Administrator shall establish a working group which shall, at a minimum, consist of— (1)

(2)State and local operational officials with emergency response or relevant regulatory responsibilities; and

(3)representatives of companies engaged in the manufacture and processing of chemicals.
