Title 15 › Chapter 49— FIRE PREVENTION AND CONTROL › § 2224
Each State must, through its Governor or the Governor’s designee, send the FEMA Administrator a list of places of public accommodation that affect commerce and meet the guidelines in section 2225. States must do this within 2 years after September 25, 1990, using procedures the FEMA Administrator creates, and must update their lists from time to time under those procedures. Within 60 days after that 2-year period ends, the FEMA Administrator must make a national master list, publish it in the Federal Register, give it to every federal agency, tell agency employees about it, and update and redistribute the master list as State lists change. Agency — meaning is in 5 U.S.C. 5701(1).
