Title 15 › Chapter 59— RETAIL POLICIES FOR NATURAL GAS UTILITIES › § 3201
Encourages gas utilities to conserve energy, use their systems and resources more efficiently, and charge fair natural gas rates. The chapter applies to any gas utility and related proceedings in a calendar year if that utility sold more than 10 billion cubic feet of natural gas (not for resale) in any calendar year beginning after December 31, 1975, and before the immediately preceding calendar year. It does not apply to sales for resale. Before each year, the Secretary must publish a list of covered utilities, and each State regulatory authority must promptly tell the Secretary which listed utilities it has ratemaking authority over.
