§3804 Coordination with Other Federal Departments and Agencies

Summary

The Secretary must, as much as possible, make sure the programs under sections 3803 and 3806 are coordinated with related rules and other duties of the Department of Energy and with other federal agencies. Each executive branch department or agency must carefully consider any written request from the Secretary, the head of an office the Secretary names under section 3803(a), or the head of an agency in an agreement under section 3803(b) to provide help the Secretary thinks necessary. That help can be paid back to the helping agency and can include moving staff with their consent without harming their job or rating.
