Title 15 › Chapter 67— ARCTIC RESEARCH AND POLICY › § 4106
Names the National Science Foundation (NSF) as the lead agency to carry out Arctic research policy. The NSF Director must make sure the requirements in section 4107 are met. The President must create an Interagency Arctic Research Policy Committee. It will include representatives from NSF and from Commerce, Defense, Energy, Interior, State, Transportation, Health and Human Services, Homeland Security, NASA, and the EPA, plus any other agencies the President finds appropriate. The NSF representative will chair the committee.
