When the Attorney General brings an antitrust suit and the court wants to give relief, it can send the case to the Commission to act as a court examiner and prepare a recommended order. The Commission must notify the parties and follow the court’s rules; parties can object, and the court may accept or reject the recommendation and enter the final order.
