Title 15 › Chapter 89— PROFESSIONAL BOXING SAFETY › § 6307e
A promoter cannot get paid for a boxing match until they give the state boxing commission a copy of any written deal with a boxer, a sworn statement that no other deals (written or oral) exist, and clear details of all fees and charges on the boxer (including the promoter’s cut of the purse and training expenses), any payments or gifts to sanctioning groups, and any cut to a boxer’s purse that goes against a prior agreement or a purse bid. The promoter also must tell the boxer the exact amounts the promoter is contracted to receive, the same list of fees and charges, and any purse reductions.
