Title 15 › CHAPTER 2D — INVESTMENT COMPANIES AND ADVISERS › SUBCHAPTER I — INVESTMENT COMPANIES › § 80a–49
Preserves existing authority and legal duties unless this subchapter says otherwise. The SEC keeps its powers under the Securities Act of 1933, the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, the Trust Indenture Act of 1939, and subchapter II of this chapter, and people's rights and liabilities under those laws remain. Other federal or state agencies keep their authority too, unless it conflicts with this subchapter or its rules.
