Title 16 › Chapter 20— NATIONAL FISHERIES CENTER AND AQUARIUM › § 1052
The Secretary of the Interior must run the National Fisheries Center and Aquarium. The Secretary can build, buy, lease, run, and keep boats for collecting fish and other specimens. He can hire people or groups to collect specimens, and buy or trade specimens and display items. He can make and give away or sell at cost books, brochures, films, photos, and other materials about the aquarium; money from sales must go into the U.S. Treasury. He can hire outside experts at up to $50 per day plus expenses. He can let related groups use meeting spaces. He can invite people from foreign countries that treat Americans the same way to use the center’s labs and equipment.
