§141 Establishment; Boundaries

Summary

All land in South Dakota inside the described line is reserved as a public park called Wind Cave National Park. The line starts at the southeast corner of section 13, township 6 south, range 5 east, Black Hills meridian; goes to the southwest corner of the southeast quarter of section 16; to the northwest corner of the northeast quarter of section 4; to the southwest and then northwest corners of section 34 (township 5 south, range 5 east); to the northeast corner of section 31 (township 5 south, range 6 east); to the southeast and southwest corners of section 7 (township 6 south, range 6 east); and back to the starting point. Any valid rights already acquired in these lands are not affected.
