Title 16 › Chapter 56A— PACIFIC SALMON FISHING › § 3641
Money may be appropriated as needed to carry out the Treaty and this chapter. That money can pay travel costs for Commissioners, Panel members and their alternates, U.S. members of joint technical committees, and advisory committee members under the Federal Travel Regulations and sections 5701, 5702, 5704–5708, and 5731 of title 5. It also covers the U.S. share of the Commission’s joint expenses; U.S. Commissioners and Panel members and alternates are not subject to section 262b of title 22 when that section would limit their authority on those expense commitments. Funds may also be used for research, enhancement, and other activities needed to carry out the Treaty and this chapter, and to settle accounts if the International Pacific Salmon Fisheries Commission is terminated.
