Title 16 › Chapter 64— NORTH AMERICAN WETLANDS CONSERVATION › § 4409
The Secretary must report to congressional committees. Every two years it must estimate acres of wetlands and migratory‑bird habitat restored, protected, or improved in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico; track trends in North American migratory bird populations; report progress on agreements under section 4413; and list projects with type, method (purchase, easement, lease), location, and duration. Each year it must report project status and include spending by U.S., Canadian, and Mexican sources.
