Creates a public recreation area on the U.S. side of Lake Amistad so people can enjoy the lands and waters and so scenic, scientific, cultural, and other values are protected. The area is the federal lands, waters, and related interests shown on the Boundary Map, Proposed Amistad National Recreation Area, No. 621/20,013–B, dated July 1969, filed at the National Park Service, Department of the Interior. The Secretary of the Interior may make small boundary changes, but the total area cannot exceed 58,500 acres. Inside the boundary, the Secretary may acquire land by purchase with donated or appropriated funds, by exchange, or by transfer from other federal agencies without paying them back.
