§482q Perfection of Mining Claims Within Forest

Summary
Mining claims in those lands that were valid on July 12, 1951, and have been kept up under the federal law they began with and under Arizona law, can be made fully valid. The claimant can choose to finish that process under sections 482o to 482q of this title or under the original laws the claim was started under.

Valid mining claims within the said lands, existing on July 12, 1951, and thereafter maintained in compliance with the law under which they were initiated and the laws of the State of Arizona, may be perfected under sections 482o to 482q of this title, or under the laws under which they were initiated, as the claimant may desire.
