Defines words used in the chapter. Federal lands are national forests, public lands, national parks, and wildlife refuges. Lawful hunt means taking or trying to take wildlife or fish on Federal lands that is legal there and does not infringe a private owner's rights. National forest; national park; public lands; wildlife refuge mean lands in their respective federal systems (sections 1609(a); 100501 of title 54; 1702(e) of title 43; 668dd). Secretary means Agriculture for forests; Interior for the others. Conduct excludes speech protected by the First Amendment.
