Title 16 › Chapter 2— NATIONAL FORESTS › Subchapter II— SCENIC AREAS › § 546
Creates the Saint Helena Island National Scenic Area to protect the island’s natural places, wildlife habitat, recreation, plant life, and historic and cultural resources for present and future generations. The designation starts when the United States gets clear ownership of the whole island, except the part already conveyed to the Great Lakes Lighthouse Keepers Association.
