Title 16 › Chapter 6— GAME AND BIRD PRESERVES; PROTECTION › § 674a
The Secretary of the Interior must manage Sullys Hill National Park in North Dakota as a big game preserve, refuge, and breeding area for wild animals and birds, and it will be called the White Horse Hill National Game Preserve. The preserve includes the lands set out in the proclamation of June 2, 1904 that created Sullys Hill Park, plus any unsurveyed or public land uncovered when Devils Lake’s water receded. The north and northwest boundary is Devils Lake, and the west and southwest boundary follows a stream through the lands revealed by the lake’s recession, roughly between the listed lots and sections in township 152 north, range 65 west, fifth principal meridian, as shown on the official survey plats approved June 23, 1904 and June 2, 1927. The public may use the preserve for recreation so long as that use is consistent with protecting the game, and hunting is not allowed.
