Title 16 › Chapter 93— AGREEMENT ON PORT STATE MEASURES TO PREVENT, DETER AND ELIMINATE ILLEGAL, UNREPORTED AND UNREGULATED FISHING › § 7406
Anyone under U.S. jurisdiction must not break the rules in this chapter or the regulations made under it. They must let an authorized officer board, search, and inspect any boat or ship they control for enforcing these rules, and they must not give false information when the rules require it. They also must not commit any offense listed in paragraphs (4), (5), (7), or (9) of section 707(a) of the Western and Central Pacific Fisheries Convention Implementation Act (16 U.S.C. 6906(a)).
