Title 16 › Chapter 1— NATIONAL PARKS, MILITARY PARKS, MONUMENTS, AND SEASHORES › Subchapter IX— COLONIAL NATIONAL HISTORICAL PARK › § 81b
Change the Colonial National Historical Park boundaries set by section 81a and Presidential Proclamation No. 2055 (August 22, 1933). The old parkway north and west of Williamsburg to Jamestown is removed. It is replaced by a parkway that goes south through or around Williamsburg, then south to the James River, and then along the river to Jamestown. The Secretary of the Interior will pick the exact route. Park rules still apply. Outside Williamsburg the parkway may average no more than 500 feet wide. The government may not use condemnation (eminent domain) inside Williamsburg except to take land for a connecting right-of-way up to 200 feet wide to link roads to Jamestown and Yorktown.
