Anyone who on purpose does something the law here bans, lets someone else do it, or on purpose fails to do something the law requires can be convicted and face up to a $1,000,000 fine, up to 5 years in prison, or both. If someone on purpose breaks rules made by the Commission or by the Secretary of the Army under this chapter, they can also be fined up to $25,000 for each day the violation continues, on top of any other penalties.
