Title 16 › Chapter 16A— ATLANTIC TUNAS CONVENTION › § 971f
Allows officials of another country, under the convention or agreements made under section 971c(b), to enforce this chapter against people or vessels that are under U.S. jurisdiction. It also lets U.S. officials enforce the chapter against people or vessels under that country’s jurisdiction. If an agreement allows arrest or seizure of people or vessels under U.S. jurisdiction, it must require that they be handed over quickly to a U.S. enforcement officer or other authorized U.S. official. See section 1826g of this title for more related prohibitions and enforcement rules.
