§707 Copyright Office Forms and Publications

Summary

The Register of Copyrights must publish catalogs of all copyright registrations. The catalogs are divided by types of works, and the Register decides how often and in what form each part is published based on practicality and usefulness. The Register must also provide application forms and general information free on request and may publish other helpful materials. All Copyright Office publications go to the depository libraries named in section 1905 of title 44; publications not given free may be sold to the public at prices that cover reproduction and distribution.
