Deliberately blocking, fighting, or otherwise getting in the way of a federal law enforcement agent who is carrying out protective duties under 22 U.S.C. 2709 or 22 U.S.C. 4802, while inside the United States or in its special maritime territorial jurisdiction, can be punished by a federal fine, up to 1 year in jail, or both.
