Title 18 › Part I— CRIMES › Chapter 57— LABOR › § 1231
Moving someone on purpose across state or national borders to stop peaceful picketing in labor disputes about pay, hours, or working conditions, or to stop workers from organizing or bargaining, is a federal crime. People who do this or who travel for that reason must be fined under federal law or jailed for up to two years, or both. Common carriers are not covered.
