Title 18 › Part I— CRIMES › Chapter 110A— DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AND STALKING › § 2261B
If the victim of that crime is under 18, the top prison sentence is increased by 5 years more than the usual maximum for the crime. That 5-year increase does not apply if a different special sentencing rule already applies to the offender, and either the offender was under 18 when the crime happened or the victim was 15–17 and no more than 3 years younger than the offender.
