Defines three terms. "Found guilty" means a court accepts a guilty or no-contest plea. "Commission of an offense" means an attempt, the actual crime, or immediate flight afterward. "Law enforcement officer" means a public official authorized to prevent, detect, investigate, or prosecute crimes.
