§1683c Export Charge Determination and Publication

Summary

The Under Secretary for International Trade at the Department of Commerce must decide each month what export charge, shown as a percentage of the export price, a country of export must collect from exporters of softwood lumber and related products covered by the law. The charge is to make sure the country follows any international agreement with the United States. The Under Secretary must publish that decision immediately on the International Trade Administration website and in any other way they think is appropriate.
