Defines key words used in the chapter. Agreement on Agriculture refers to the agreement named in section 3511(d)(2) of this title. Agreement on Safeguards refers to the agreement named in section 3511(d)(13). Agreement on Subsidies and Countervailing Measures refers to the agreement named in section 3511(d)(12). Antidumping Agreement refers to the Agreement on Implementation of Article VI of GATT 1994 named in section 3511(d)(7). Appellate Body is the appeals body set up under Article 17.1 of the Dispute Settlement Understanding. Core labor standards cover five basic worker rights: the right to join groups, the right to organize and bargain collectively, a ban on forced labor, a minimum age for child employment, and acceptable wages, hours, and workplace safety and health. Dispute Settlement Understanding refers to the rules called out in section 3511(d)(16). GATT 1994, Uruguay Round Agreements, and WTO member are defined as given in section 3501 (and 3501(7) and 3501(10) as applicable). ILO means the International Labor Organization. Import sensitive agricultural product describes certain farm goods tied to tariff changes on January 1, 1995 (not less than 97.5% of the December 31, 1994 rate) or that had a tariff-rate quota on August 6, 2002. United States person includes U.S. citizens, entities organized under U.S. law, and foreign entities controlled by those U.S. persons. WTO Agreement is the agreement that created the World Trade Organization on April 15, 1994.
