§5538 Net Expenses of Telecommunications Revolving Fund

Summary

Creates a revolving fund in the U.S. Treasury called the Net Expenses of Telecommunications Revolving Fund. The Chief Administrative Officer of the House must put money from legislative branch offices into the fund to buy, lease, obtain, and maintain data and voice telecommunications services and equipment. The money can be used without a yearly time limit. The fund counts as a category of allowances and expenses under section 5507(a). The rule applies for fiscal year 2005 and each year after, and for deposits the Chief Administrative Officer may use amounts provided during fiscal year 2004 or any later fiscal year.
