Local school districts may keep up to 15% of the money they get under this subpart to spend for one more fiscal year; funds they got by reallocation are not counted. A State educational agency can waive that 15% limit once every 3 years if it approves the district’s request or if supplemental appropriations become available. The 15% rule does not apply to any district that receives less than $50,000 in a fiscal year.
