Title 20 › Chapter 70— STRENGTHENING AND IMPROVEMENT OF ELEMENTARY AND SECONDARY SCHOOLS › Subchapter IV— 21ST CENTURY SCHOOLS › Part C— Expanding Opportunity Through Quality Charter Schools › § 7221

It pays for planning and first steps, studies how charter schools affect students and communities and shares what works, asks states to help pay for school buildings like they do for regular public schools, expands access for students with disabilities and English learners, and strengthens the groups that approve and oversee charter schools (like state and local education agencies) so they are open, monitored, and held accountable.
